Friends are paid an hourly rate for every Catch-Up they complete. Specific rates are discussed personally during your intro meeting.
None at all. Hey Ruth is not a counselling service. We look for warm, genuine people who are great at conversation. Your life experience matters far more than any certificate.
Friends are asked to commit to at least 10 hours of availability a week. Beyond that, you're fully in control of your own schedule.
A reliable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a quiet private space to chat from. All Catch-Ups happen over video.
Friends are engaged as independent contractors. Payment details, including bank details and invoicing, are covered during onboarding. Payments are made per completed Catch-Up.
Hey Ruth is based in Australia, but our customers come from around the world. If you're based outside Australia, apply anyway and we'll be in touch as availability opens in your region.
